MON's Logo Animation


My animation differs from my story-board quite a bit as i had to scrap the idea of a background due to the time it would take and how much more complex the animation would be which i would not be able to handle so i went for a simple gray background, now my current animation thoughts based on one of my logos being Duke Of Design from a previous project i wish i was able to make the logo in the beginning to have a better font which matched the final one to be thinner and taller with only straight lines but i had to work on the animation for longer than expected and had to start over about half my work due to data lose where i forgot to save and closed Adobe Animate, for the end it was meant to look like a constellation which made the logo but i was quite rough so it just looks like text of a black background with crooked start around, for the beginning and the middle i wanted it to look like the word of my logo were meeting up to doing something and look up to space to see themself in the stars.

MON's Final Animation

This is my Final Animation after i listened to the suggestions of my peer which has asked to to add more color which i appealed to by replacing the grey background with black paths with a dark purple color and a light lavender for the path which my logo follows on and for my starts nearing the end have red stroke which fade into a purple hue, and the other main suggestion was about my logo as during the beginning and before the end my logo make an unnatural transition which show no correlation with shape so i had to swap the font of the initial logo to match the final  version of my logo at the end of my animation, then the last thing i did was fix some timing errors and line up errors which made my animation a tad bit sloppy.

Refining my comps I chose my favorite from the tie when the vote was chosen for which of my design was the classes favorite .The 1st Row is the base font and design, the 2nd for was mostly the same as the first design but the serifs were altered to be flat at the middle and ends and i had changed the design of the S and made it thinner as it was slightly sloppy in my opinion in the original type. The 3rd row i had reversed the serif based on the original design so the thick S is back and some serif weren't able to reserve due to they trying to connect to the S in a awkward way which i didn't approve of. The 4th row was a very boxy and flat design where i remove the serifs and i even gave the S a squarish shape to match the theme, the 5th design was similar the to the fourth but slightly thicker and some letters has their serifs still and well also i had made it vertical. and for each column was a different type of version from the 1st column the 2nd column is where i reduced...

Electronic Roughs Reflections

1LEE,2IMPERFECTION. 3VAZ,4DUKE OF DESIGN,5IDEALIST So for my Electronic rou ghs i had started on Monday i started with Lee and had to use actual font to make the better than i had made the serif and first using the shapes tool and used two triangle to make a box, then i started making IDEALIST and only used shapes with a thick contrast and i struggle with A and S so i waited till Tuesday to do them but in the meantime i had worked on VAZ which was also made with shapes and way simpler ,then i worked on a bit of DUKE OF DESIGN but i had scaled it poorly and didn't do all the letter but i ran out of time , and that was everything i did Monday, and now today Tuesday i had started with Finishing DUKE OF DESIGN's letters than i scale them correctly so they are of a Tall and Skinny Font, then i had Worked On ImPerFecTioN which i had only used a stylized Font which made the capital letter stand out more to embrace it's Imperfection, Then for the last things i did was finished doin...
